The Actual Italian

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Actual Green Burgers
  • ½ lb. Alternative pasta (suggestions: lentil, gluten free)
  • Store bought marinara (preferred: RAO’s)
  • Fresh mozzarella sliced (or vegan mozzarella)
  • Salt and pepper
  • DIRECTIONS

  • Follow the instructions on the package to prepare the Actual Green Burgers.
  • While the burgers are cooking, boil the pasta water, and cook the pasta to al dente, or preferred doneness. Drain.
  • Warm pasta sauce, and top over cooked pasta.
  • Place slices of mozzarella on top of the cooked burgers and melt * chef tip – place in hot oven, or if cooking on skillet, place lid on top of warmed pan.
  • Top pasta and sauce with prepared burgers. Enjoy!
